The Pilot Plan of Landscaping is ready to Decorate and Organize Persepolis Entrance Path

The head of Persepolis World Heritage Site declared that the pilot plan of landscaping for the entrance path of Persepolis, with the aims of decorating and organizing there, with 4.000.000.000 Rials fund is ready for operation. 

According to Public Relations Department of Persepolis World Heritage Site, the head of Site, Masoud Rezaei monfared said that Persepolis World Heritage Site and its Technical office has planned to construct, organize and decorate the Persepolis entrance path and the advisory committee of the site supervises them by considering the rules of right-of-way at World Heritage Sites.

  As he said the advisory committee programs and priorities are organizing and decorating the Persepolis entrance path, which its first phase will be done in two different projects in the early Isfand and near Nowrooz 1396.

Rezaei Monfared said that the first project i.e. organizing the entrance path of Persepolis, aimed at grading and landscaping it has been done for 900 meters area, which consists of pavements, a road for riding bicycle and garden that has been built by precast concrete.

This project has been planned, presented and done as a pilot one which will covers the entire entrance path of Persepolis by the supervision of the advisory committee.

He also continued: the second project of the plan is landscaping the visitors’ footway which is between the entrance gate and the site entrance; this space has been defined as waiting area. This project covered 6000 square meters in order to provide an appropriate area for the visitors.

The head of the World heritage site declared that: many constructive and organizing plans are being checked which we hope they can solve the Persepolis visitors’ problems.
