Chanting Holy Qur’an, National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Chanting Golestan, the performance of praying act by Parniyan Rezaei Monfared, playing happy songs, alive Iranian folk songs and chant, reed playing by teenagers from Marvdasht, Babak and Farshid Gholizade, reciting the prayer of beginning a new year, playing Nowrooz song and performing “choobazi” (a play and a dance with woods in an special manner) which is a local dance by reed and Naqareh (Saz-o Naqare) and visitors’ token pictures around Haft-Sin table are some of the memorable activities of Nowrooz festival which was done at Persepolis.

In this festival the head of Persepolis world heritage site, Marvdasht attorney general, Marvdasht mayor and the deputy of the governor congratulate the New Year separately to visitors.
