Transferring Ancient Artifacts from Italy to Persepolis

Public Relations Department of Persepolis World Heritage Site declared that 10 ancient artifacts had been sent to Italy from Iran to be presented in an exhibition “Lions and Bulls of Ancient Art of Persia from Achaemenid to Sassanid era” those artifacts had been transferred into Iran by the end of the exhibition.

This exhibition ran for three months at Aquileia’s archaeological museum in Italy. The relics were a tripod bowl standing on lion’s paws, androcephalous bull, fragments of leonine paws, the head statue of Xerxes the first, statuette of standing bull and a rhyton.
