The Director of Culture Affairs and Communication Department of Fars Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said “Fars Historical-Cultural Monuments are closed on Tasua and Ashura”.

According to the Public Relations Department of Fars Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Payam Qerabi expressed condolences over Imam Hussein mourning ritual and said that historical-cultural sites will be closed all over Fars on Tasua, October 12and Ashura October 13, 2016.

All the covered offices and sites are as follow: Tomb of Hafez and Sa’di, Karim Khan Arg (castle), Persepolis World Heritage Site, Pasargadae, Naqsh-e Rostam, Naqsh-e Rajab, Bishapur, Tang-e Chowgan, Shapur Cave, Qal’e Dokhtar, Palace of Ardashir in Firoozabad, Sarvestan Palace and other related places.
