The public relations department of the Persepolis World Heritage Base reports that this ceremony began with chanting the holy Qur’an and National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The head of Persepolis World Heritage Base welcomed the participants and then gave them a brief report of the activities done by different teamwork of Persepolis World Heritage Base. He also appreciated those who helped them during Nowrooz at Persepolis and Pasargadae sites.
The general manager of Iran’s World Heritage Bases, Farhad Azizi during his speech appreciated and thanked all Persepolis and Pasargadae’s Staffs, non-governmental organizations, tour guides who worked during Nowrooz and other cultured and Culture-lovers who always try to advance cultural and touristy purposes especially in Nowrooz.
The head of Pasargadae World Heritage Base, Hamid Fadaei and the Governor of Marvdasht, Mr. Najibzade respected cultural heritage week and they both esteemed this point that cultural heritage group has an effective role in exalting Iran’s name which results in promising future for our country.
A short movie about preparing Pasargadae and Persepolis sites for the visitors in Nowrooz (of 1396), another short movie about the activities of guardianship units and volunteer tour guides were shown in the ceremony.
This glorification ceremony consisted of other artistic and cultural programs like playing live pop and classical music, playing reed and reading poems. Paintings and pictures exhibition also attracted the participants.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday on May 23, 2017 at Apadana Hotel of Persepolis. The heads of Persepolis and Pasargadae world heritage bases, the Assistant of Fars Cultural Heritage Organization,
The Governor of Marvdasht, The General Manager of Iran’s World Heritage Bases and some authorities of Fars General Governor Office, they all appreciated multiple-member groups, self-sacrifices and martyr’s families of Pasargadae and Persepolis sites and their all staffs.
It is necessary to say that on the occasion of cultural heritage week, some staffs of guardianship unit and Persepolis group were appreciated.
At the end of the glorification ceremony, the reformation and equipping project of the professional library of Persepolis opened and exploited.
