According to the report from Public Relations Department of Persepolis world Heritage Base, the secondscientific conference of Iran historical studies (Achaemenid and Sassanid) will be held on the anniversary of Professor Shapur Shahbazi, the great archeologist and prominent researcher of civilization and Achaemenid studies, with the presence of the deputy of Iran Cultural Heritage Organization, prominent professors, men of history, and the archeology and cultural heritage lovers.
In this conference the Biennial Conference and the Scientific Reward of Pro.Shapur Shahbazi will be unveiled, which is based on Sassanid and Achaemenid archeological researches about ancient Iran. It is planned to establish a perpetual office for it at Persepolis, supervised by prominent intellectuals.

Dr. Mohammad Hasan Talebian (Deputy of Iran Cultural Heritage Organization), Dr. Masud Rezaei Monfared(The Head of Persepolis world heritage Base), Dr. Kurosh Kamali Sarvestani (The Head of Fars National Library and Archives), Dr. Alireza Asgari Chaverdi (The Director of Archeological Excavations in the Ancient City of Parsa), Dr. Ahmad Ali Asadi (The Director of Excavations of the Persepolis waterways), Dr. Ali Musavi (Researcher and Archeologist from the University of California), and Nazila Shahbazi (on behalf of Shahbazi’s family).
This conference will be held on July 16, 2017 at the amphitheater saloon of the National Library and Archives of Fars with the help of Persepolis and Pasargadae World Heritage Base, Shiraz Art University, National Library and Archives of Fars, Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Fars and Iran Cultural Heritage Affairs Department on July 16, 2017 from 17:30 until 20:00.
